Most of the major drugs that can be purchased can be obtained in Florida. Florida acts as both a consumption and distribution state. Drugs are sold there and also distributed to other states. Many come in from nearby islands and countries and are then shipped out along the eastern seaboard and within the region. Drugs may be brought in via boat, aircraft and various delivery services. Private and commercial vehicles, railcars and buses are used as well. Many of the drugs enter Florida and then are shipped to Atlanta and New York. The drugs seized most often include heroin, marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine.
